Where my arrogance and hubris precede me. Or, at least, a place to explore the myriad ideas banging around my head and get a handle on the overwhelming nature of my life.

Blogs of friends
fellow digi-scrappers, fellow attachment parents, parents with kids born the same month as mine, Orthodox friends, and blogs I enjoy reading sometimes:
Alright, a friend who shall hitherforth remain "anonymous" posted the following funny comment to this post: "What if he loved me as if there were two of me?". Hee! But then he deleted it because he wanted to be anonymous (if I roll my eyes at you, will you be offended? You will? Oh, okay then, I won't).
The reason I found the quote interesting is because that's precisely the part of God's love I have trouble with. It makes sense to me how He loves mankind in general and sent Christ to save mankind, etc. It's on God's individual love for ME that I balk. Why would He love me? It's not rational. And that's where the rubber meets the road, isn't it? God isn't rational and I'm never going to be able to "get my head around" this because that's not how we know God and come into His presence.
